Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients of CEC Minicabs and to all Private Hire Minicab services arranged on the customer’s behalf through CEC Minicabs.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement relating to the arrangements made by CEC Minicabs (acting as your agent) and the subsequent provision of an airport transfer, local, or long-distance service (“Service”).

Completion of a booking and use of the Service (whether by telephone, text, website, mobile app, or any other method) indicates unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Any changes requested by the customer shall have no effect unless agreed in writing by CEC Minicabs.

CEC Minicabs is a Private Hire Minicab Management Company acting on your behalf to arrange bookings with licensed drivers. Drivers are self-employed and act as principals. Cash receipts requested from the office will not include VAT.

Booking Acceptance
Your booking is not accepted by Clayhall Executive Cars Ltd until you receive a confirmation SMS. All booking requests are provisional until accepted by our licensed operating centre.

Definitions
“CEC Minicabs” is a trading name of Clayhall Executive Cars Limited.
Registered Office: Unit 6 Rectory Lane, Loughton, England, IG10 2QZ.

1. Services Provided

We provide private hire minicab services within the United Kingdom, principally in Ilford and the Greater London area.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate booking information and comply with all applicable laws during the journey.

3. Content and Conduct

Users must not engage in illegal activity or submit harmful or abusive content. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these terms.

4. Content Moderation

Illegal content can be reported via our Contact Us page or by calling 020 8518 0000.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Payment and Cancellation

Payments are processed securely. Cancellations may be made before pickup time. Refunds are issued per our cancellation policy.

7. Claims
Any claim against CEC Minicabs or Clayhall Executive Cars Ltd is limited strictly to the cost of the fare paid for the journey taken.

8. Delays, Traffic, and Missed Flights

Arrival times are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control. Customers must allow sufficient time for journeys.

9. Force Majeure

CEC Minicabs is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, strikes, road closures, or system outages.

10. Limitation of Liability

CEC Minicabs shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
